Sidecars Race 2 Dominance
Kieran Clarke and passenger Rob Coppock continued their F2 Sidecars domination with a commanding win in the second six-lap race. According to the report from Roadracing News, their final winning margin stood at almost twenty-eight seconds.
The pair, backed by Eddys Moto Tadcaster, were consistently ahead by large gaps throughout the contest. Steve Ramsden and Matty Ramsden finished second, with Mark Hegarty and Jack Knapton in third. Further down the order, the pairing of Greg Lambert and Andrew Haynes set a new Pre-Injection Sidecars lap-record of 2 minutes 06.266 seconds for the 2.43-mile circuit.
Classic Superbike Duel
Tom Weeden defeated Joey Thompson for the second time in the Classic Superbike race. The 2016 Senior Manx GP winner finished just 0.794 seconds ahead of Thompson after a race-long battle.
Weeden was helped by a best race lap-time. Barry Furber, new to the Key Racing 916 Ducati, took third place. Johnny Stewart, Paul Marley, and Mick Goodings rounded out the top six. Chris Meyer was the top Two Strokes pilot in thirteenth overall.
Lightweights and Class Honors

Local rider William Grant, who recently finished ninth in the Senior Manx Grand Prix, took third place. Andy Hayes was fourth overall and the lead Super Moto runner again. Class honors for the CB 500 and 125/Moto 3 categories were collected by Steven Allan and the evergreen Tony Flinton, respectively.
