Baja International Tourist Cup postponed with existing lap record noted
The 6th Baja International Tourist Cup has been postponed. Originally set for 14th-15th October 2026, it will now take place in autumn 2027 in Tecate, Baja California, Mexico. Eric Wilson holds the event's lap record, a time of 4 minutes 43 seconds set back in 2022.
European and American hill climbs and circuit races scheduled for October
Numerous motorcycle events are scheduled across England, France, Belgium, Australia, Germany, and the Netherlands in early to mid-October. The action begins on 2nd October with finals and showdowns.
The NHCA Hartland B Hill Climb finale is set for 4th October at Hartland Quay, England. In Mexico, the 9th San Pedro Martir Hill Climb runs 10th-11th October; Mark Miller holds the best time record of 14 minutes 30 seconds from 2021. France hosts the 27th Grand Prix du Ried on 3rd-4th October in Boesenbiesen-Schwobsheim.
Belgium's 39th Superbiker Mettet at the Jules Tacheny Circuit on 10th-12th October features a strong lineup. Announced participants include Davey Todd, Peter Hickman, Storm Stacey, Pierre-Yves Bian, Ryan Cringle, and Marc-Reiner Schmidt.
Australia's Postie Bike Grand Prix is scheduled for 18th October in Cessnock. Germany hosts the Sidecar Festival with the World Sidecar Championship Round 6 finale in Oschersleben from 2nd-4th October.
The British Superbike Championship reaches its climax with Round 10 at Donington Park on 2nd-4th October and the final Round 11 at Brands Hatch on 16th-18th October. International series conclude this month. World Superbikes has Round 11 at Estoril, Portugal on 9th-10th October and its finale at Jerez, Spain on 16th-18th October. Italy's CIV finale is at Vallelunga, the King of Grobnik runs in Croatia, and Spain's ESBK finale alongside the Bagger Racing League finale takes place at Jerez from 30th October. The IDC International Dutch Championship finale is at Assen on 3rd October.
