Any Mobility has revealed the LUV1, an electric two-wheeler built around a large cargo bay. The machine is designed for last-mile delivery services, offering a 60mph top speed and a claimed range of around 80 miles. According to the source, Visordown, it requires an A1 licence to operate.

Core Specifications and Design

The LUV1's most distinctive feature is its 120-litre cargo bay located in the motorcycle's central section. The company calls it a 'Life Utility Vehicle'. The storage area is made from a lightweight die-cast aluminium chassis and has a maximum payload of 50kg. It can be configured with dividers and locked alongside the batteries.

Power comes from a rear-hub motor with 11kW of peak power, fed by two removable 6.5kWh lithium-ion batteries. Any claims a range of between 100 and 140km. A full charge takes between 2.5 and four hours from a 220V supply. The chassis has a claimed kerb weight of 160kg and a seat height of 786mm.

Versatile Configurations

Any Mobility says the LUV1 is not only for delivery. The same basic platform can be configured for different roles. Versions are aimed at business users, commuters, families, and leisure riders. Optional covers, side bags, and other accessories adapt the bike for these uses.

The company pitches it as having the agility of a scooter and the speed of a car. Integrated LED lighting illuminates the storage areas. A phone-based system handles navigation, battery information, and range data. The bike also features keyless start.

Market Launch and Pricing

The LUV1 is scheduled for an official launch in late 2027. A guide price for the bike is €8,500, which is approximately £7,300. The final price will depend on the market and the bike's final specification. The maker aims to provide a regulated electric alternative to the petrol-powered scooters and unregulated electric bicycles currently common in last-mile delivery.
