Royal Enfield Launches Electric Flying Flea C6 in Europe
Royal Enfield has launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in five European cities including London.

Royal Enfield has officially launched its first electric motorcycle, the Flying Flea C6, in Europe. The urban mobility model is now available in five major cities, with pricing confirmed at €5,990 across the continent and £5,300 in the UK.
After nearly two years of anticipation and a rollout that began in India this past July, the global expansion has reached key European markets. The city-by-city launch strategy saw the bike debut in Paris and London, followed by Barcelona, Berlin, and Rome. In London, the custom motorcycle retailer Krazy Horse will handle distribution through its store in Welling.
Price and Design
The Flying Flea C6 arrives in three colour options: Flea Green, Storm Black, and Parachute White. The brand draws inspiration from the lightweight Royal Enfield motorcycles developed during World War II, which were parachuted onto battlefields and nicknamed Flying Fleas. The modern C6 reinterpretation features an exoskeleton frame and a contemporary take on the original's front suspension.
A key technical highlight is its forged aluminium Girder fork. Royal Enfield claims the FF.C6 is the only motorcycle currently on the market to feature this advanced suspension setup. The model is part of the brand's broader plan to introduce more electric bikes, with an S6 Scrambler variant expected to follow.
Performance and Charging
The electric powertrain delivers performance figures aimed at urban commuting. Royal Enfield provides the following specifications:
| Specification | Claimed Figure |
|---|---|
| WMTC Range | 104 km (65 miles) |
| Top Speed | 115 km/h (72 mph) |
| Maximum Torque | 44.2 lb-ft |
| Battery Capacity | 3.91 kWh |
| Power Output | 20.6 bhp @ 3,500 rpm |
The bike uses a lithium-ion battery wrapped in a lightweight magnesium alloy casing with air-cooled ventilation. Its onboard charger is described as one of the fastest in its segment. Using a standard 16 Amp wall outlet, the Flying Flea C6 can charge from 20% to 80% in just over 60 minutes, delivering approximately 1 km of range per minute of charging. The system also supports trickle charging for battery longevity.
Technology and Features
New owners will access Royal Enfield's next-generation Fleaware OS. The company says this system continuously learns from rider behaviour to provide a more intuitive and personalised experience, with over-the-air updates available. A claimed industry-first rotary mode switch allows riders to flip between different ride modes for varying traffic or road conditions.
The bike comes with a TFT display that shows selectable charging speeds: Rapid, Standard, and Trickle. Standard equipment includes advanced stability systems like lean-angle ABS and traction control. Remote monitoring, connected navigation, and an emergency kill switch are also part of the package.
Riding impressions of the new electric Royal Enfield are expected to be published shortly.
