Harrison, Hutchinson Lead Road Racers at BSB
At Cadwell Park's BSB round, Dean Harrison took two fourths in Supersport, with Ian Hutchinson and Richard Cooper also securing top-six finishes.
Road racing exponents recorded top-ten finishes across multiple classes during the eighth round of the 2026 British Superbike Championship at Cadwell Park.
In the premier Superbike class, Josh Brookes finished ninth in the opening race and twelfth in the second and third races. Storm Stacey did not finish the first race but recovered to take eleventh and ninth in the subsequent races. Glenn Irwin was a non-finisher in races one and two before crossing the line fourteenth in race three.
Supersport and Superstock Performances
Dean Harrison was a consistent performer for Honda Racing UK in the Supersport category. The Southern 100 lap-record holder secured fourth place in both the sprint and feature races. Reflecting on his weekend, Harrison noted the circuit's specific challenges, saying Cadwell Park always has something special up its sleeve and this weekend was no different. He added it's a challenging circuit to overtake on, especially in the supersport class.
In the Superstock 1000 class, TT winner Ian Hutchinson delivered two solid performances. He finished sixth in both of the weekend's races.
Support Class Standings
Richard Cooper stood on the podium in the Sportbike class, finishing third in its sole race. The F900R BMW Cup provided action across three races, with Barry Burrell taking a win in the second heat and a second place in the main race. Josh Corner finished third in the opening heat and fifth in the main race, while Christian Slater placed thirteenth in the second heat and twenty-fourth in the main race.

Harrison on Riding a Classic Superbike
A unique element of Dean Harrison's weekend was a demonstration ride on a 2007-specification Superbike on both race days. He described the experience as a privilege, saying he was surprised at how small it felt and also by how good it was.
For the Supersport feature race, Harrison opted for a full slick tyre setup. He stated he ultimately called it the right way, but by the time he was able to make the most of the grip he had, the leading bikes were out of reach.
