The Dymokury road races in the Czech Republic will not run in 2026. According to a report on Road Racing News, the event's organisers cited safety reasons for the cancellation.

This means the list of the circuit's fastest exponents is frozen for now. Seventy-three riders from seven different nations have recorded lap times below the one minute and five second mark at Dymokury. The outright lap record is held by Germany's David Datzer, the 2024 International Road Racing Championship (IRRC) Superbike champion, with a time of 59 seconds.

A Thirteen-Year Run

The event had seen consistent action since its renewal in 2013. It managed to stage thirteen consecutive race meetings. This run included the 2020 and 2021 seasons, a period when many global motorsport events were halted. Hopes are now pinned on a return for the unique Central Bohemian region event next year.

The Fastest Riders

The source provides a full ranking of every rider to have broken the 1:05.00 barrier at Dymokury between 2013 and 2025. The top ten is dominated by Czech and German competitors, with Dutch riders also breaking into the leading group.

Road Racing Continues Elsewhere

Despite the Dymokury cancellation, road racing action continues in the region. The report notes that the Road Racing Club, which organises the Dymokury event, will soon commence its traditional 'road racer’s adventure' at the Brno Autodrom. This event, the Autumn Bohumil Stasa Prize, is scheduled for September 19th-20th. It coincides with the IRRC season finale at Germany's Frohburger Dreieck circuit.

The photographic record of the Dymokury circuit was credited to Jan Vavra.
