News: Tickets for the 86th Daytona Bike Week, running March 5-14, 2027, are now on sale

Tickets for the 2027 Daytona Bike Week went on sale on October 7, 2026. The 86th annual festival will run from March 5 through March 14, packing the calendar with America's most historic motorcycle races.

Frank Kelleher noted the event's unique appeal. "Bike Week At DAYTONA is one of the most unique stretches of racing anywhere in the world," he said. The schedule is anchored by four premier events. The 57th annual Daytona Supercross kicks off the competition on March 6. The American Flat Track season begins at the Speedway on March 10 and 11. The final days will feature the Mission King Of The Baggers races and the climactic 85th running of the Daytona 200 on March 13.

Josh Herrin aims for historic fifth straight Daytona 200 win

All eyes will be on defending champion Josh Herrin. He has a chance to make history. Herrin is the first rider ever to win four consecutive Daytona 200 races, a streak spanning 2023 through 2026. That 2026 victory was his fifth overall win at the event. In 2027, he will attempt a feat never before achieved: a fifth straight victory.

Wayne Rainey, President of MotoAmerica and the 1987 Daytona 200 winner, highlighted the race's significance and Herrin's opportunity. "The DAYTONA 200 is the crown jewel of American road racing," Rainey stated. He confirmed Herrin has a shot at the unprecedented five-peat. The 2027 race will also be the opening round and a points-paying race for the championship, a traditional role for much of the event's storied history.

Ricky Carmichael marks 20th year designing Daytona Supercross course

The Daytona Supercross will also celebrate a major milestone. Ricky Carmichael will design the challenging course for the 20th consecutive year. This 2027 event will serve as Round 9 of the SMX World Championship. The Ricky Carmichael Amateur Supercross, now part of the SMX Next program, will also be part of the week's activities.

Eli Tomac is the most recent 450SX winner at Daytona, having taken the victory earlier in 2026. In the 250SX class that same year, Seth Hammaker secured victory with a 4.2-second lead after a crash in qualifying.

Supporting races highlight depth of talent across disciplines

Beyond the headline events, Daytona Bike Week showcases elite talent across multiple disciplines. The Mission AFT SuperTwins Mission Triple Challenge Races promise intense flat track action. Last spring, Kody Kopp, Dallas Daniels, and Davis Fisher demonstrated remarkable consistency, each finishing in the top five across all four of Daytona's main flat track events.

The Mission King Of The Baggers series delivers high-speed drama on the 3.51-mile road course. The 2026 event saw a dominant performance from Factory Indian. Hayden Gillim won the opening race by a massive eight-second margin. His teammate Troy Herfoss then claimed victory in the second race. These bagger races, along with the Twins Cup and Super Hooligans classes, will run as feature events following the Daytona 200.

Entry lists and detailed team announcements for all 2027 Daytona Bike Week events will be released in the coming months.
