In the post, Yungblud said: "Leg fu**ed. Still giggin. Still standin (sort of). Portugal and Belgium I’m comin and it’s gonna be f***ing mad. See you next week. Let’s ride." The post featured Elton John’s "I’m Still Standing" soundtrack, somewhat ironically given Yungblud's injury.
It’s unclear how the accident happened, or what motorcycle Yungblud was riding at the time. However, the 29-year-old can be seen riding a blacked out Harley-Davidson in another post on Instagram, which the singer was known to be riding during his visit to the US.
Yungblud is currently performing his 2025 album Idols alongside his collaborative EP with Aerosmith, One More Time. Despite his injury, he plans to continue his European tour with visits to Portugal and Belgium.
The Sturgis Motorcycle Rally was a popular event this year, with many local hotels, camping sites, and street bars reaching full capacity. Members of the public described the event as a "return to form".
