MCL26 Sets Stage for All-New Modern Classic Motorcycle Display

The MCL26 event in Birmingham is set to feature an all-new display of 12 classic motorcycles, including a Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo and a Mike Hailwood replica.
If you're planning to attend this year's MCL26 event, then this new display of 12 classic motorcycles should be on your to-do list. The event, which takes place at the NEC from November 21-29, will feature a carefully selected collection of 12 motorcycles ranging from the 1980s to the 2000s.
The new display, named 'The Collection', is part of the event's wider plans to introduce new activities to this year's show. The Moulsdale Foundation, a charitable foundation and collection company based on the outskirts of Glasgow, has collaborated with MCL26 to bring this display to life.
The Moulsdale Foundation houses over 400 motorcycles and 300 cars, with private models and collections regularly loaned for public viewings. MCL arranged for Mike Armitage, Editor of Classic Bike, to select the top twelve motorcycles that will be in attendance.
The list of featured motorcycles includes a high-mileage Honda MBX80, a Kawasaki GPZ750 Turbo, a Suzuki RG500, a Mike Hailwood Ducati replica, and a Foggy Petronas FP1. The latter was produced when former four-time WorldSBK champion Carl Fogarty headed up the new Foggy Petronas WorldSBK team, which competed in the series from 2002 to 2006.
Other machines that will be featured include a special Yamaha R1 YART machine, as well as a Honda X-ADV 750 SE. The final few bikes have been kept under wraps, for now.
